CROMCARS – General Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 10 October 2026

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING OUR WEBSITE, PURCHASING PRODUCTS OR PARTICIPATING IN A COMPETITION.

1. About Us

CROMCARS is operated by D4C CUSTOMS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales.

Company number: 17509265
Registered office: 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom
Website: https://cromcars.com
Customer support: [email protected]

In these Terms, “CROMCARS”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to D4C CUSTOMS LTD.

2. Scope of These Terms

These General Terms govern your use of the CROMCARS website, customer accounts, purchases of physical merchandise and access to our competition services.

Separate policies and rules may apply, including:

Where competition-specific rules differ from these General Terms on a competition-related matter, the competition-specific rules apply, subject to mandatory consumer law.

3. Eligibility

You must have the legal capacity to enter into a purchase agreement.

Participation in prize competitions is restricted to persons who meet the age, residency and other eligibility requirements published for the relevant competition.

We may request reasonable identity, age or residency verification.

We may refuse participation where necessary to comply with applicable law or to protect the integrity of a competition.

[CONFIRM BEFORE PUBLICATION: Minimum competition age and eligible countries.]

4. Customer Accounts

Customers may create a CROMCARS account to manage purchases, competition entries and predictions.

You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account details current.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

Accounts must not be sold, transferred or used to impersonate another person.

If you suspect unauthorised access, contact [email protected].

5. Merchandise Products

CROMCARS sells automotive-themed merchandise, including T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts and related apparel or accessories.

Product descriptions, sizes, colours, prices and available options are displayed on the relevant product pages.

We make reasonable efforts to describe products accurately. Minor variations in colour or appearance may occur because of screen settings or manufacturing differences.

Any material product characteristics and applicable charges will be disclosed before checkout.

6. Orders and Contract Formation

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products.

An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt of your order but does not necessarily mean we have accepted it.

A contract is formed when we expressly accept the order or dispatch the goods, whichever occurs first, unless a different acceptance point is clearly communicated during checkout.

We may reject an order for legitimate reasons, including stock unavailability, payment failure or an obvious pricing error. Where payment has already been taken for an order we do not accept, we will refund it.

7. Prices, Taxes and Payments

Prices are displayed on the website in the currency indicated at checkout.

Delivery charges and any additional mandatory charges payable to CROMCARS will be shown before payment.

Payments are handled through the payment methods made available at checkout.

You must be authorised to use your selected payment method.

Your payment provider may apply independent currency conversion or international transaction fees.

8. Merchandise Delivery

Our standard delivery period for physical merchandise is within 15 calendar days of order acceptance, unless a different timeframe is clearly stated and agreed before checkout.

This applies to products such as T-shirts, hoodies and other physical merchandise.

Shipping destinations, delivery charges and available delivery methods will be shown before checkout.

Orders may be fulfilled through third-party manufacturing or delivery partners. D4C CUSTOMS LTD remains responsible for its contractual and statutory obligations as the seller.

If delivery is delayed, we will communicate relevant information and respect your rights under applicable consumer law.

If delivery does not take place within the agreed period, you may have the right to require delivery within an appropriate additional period or, in circumstances specified by law, cancel the contract and receive a refund.

Risk of loss or damage generally remains with us until the goods come into the physical possession of you or a person you identify to receive them, subject to applicable legal exceptions.

[CONFIRM BEFORE PUBLICATION: Delivery countries, delivery charges and treatment of import duties.]

9. Returns, Cancellations and Refunds

Your statutory consumer rights are not excluded or reduced by these Terms.

For most eligible online purchases of physical merchandise by UK consumers, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason.

You must notify us of your decision to cancel. After cancellation, you must return the goods within the period required by applicable law, generally 14 days.

Where legally permitted and disclosed, you may be responsible for the direct cost of returning non-faulty goods.

Refunds will be processed in accordance with applicable law, including any refund of standard outbound delivery charges required by law.

Where permitted, we may wait until the returned goods are received or you provide evidence of return shipment before issuing the refund.

Goods that are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise fail to meet statutory standards are subject to separate consumer remedies.

A product being printed or manufactured after an order is placed does not automatically remove statutory cancellation rights. A legal exception may apply where goods are genuinely made to a customer’s specifications or clearly personalised.

For assistance, contact [email protected].

Full procedures are explained in our Refunds & Returns Policy.

10. Acceleration Challenge Competitions

CROMCARS operates Acceleration Challenge competitions based on participants predicting vehicle acceleration performance.

The competition system records predictions for eight distances:

  1. 100 metres
  2. 200 metres
  3. 300 metres
  4. 400 metres
  5. 500 metres
  6. 600 metres
  7. 800 metres
  8. 1000 metres

Participants submit predicted times in the format MM.mmm.

Predictions are assessed against officially recorded vehicle performance results, which may be obtained using Dragy timing equipment.

The competition scoring system provides a maximum of 800 points, comprising up to 100 points for each distance.

The exact mathematical scoring formula, tie-breaking method, deadlines and winner determination process are governed by the Official Acceleration Challenge Rules.

Predictions may become locked when the applicable competition reaches its published lock point.

Once results have been officially published, predictions and competition records may become read-only.

We will not retrospectively change published results except where a documented error, fraud or another valid reason requires a correction under the applicable rules.

11. Merchandise Purchases and Competition Participation

Certain merchandise purchases may provide eligibility for a stated number of Acceleration Challenge predictions or entries.

Where this applies, the product page must clearly identify the relevant competition and the number of entries or predictions associated with the purchase.

For example, a promotional merchandise product may provide ten predictions per eligible unit purchased, where expressly stated on that product page.

Purchasing merchandise does not guarantee a prize or winning position.

Competition participation is subject to the applicable competition rules.

Any refund, cancellation or return involving a product linked to competition entries will be handled in accordance with mandatory consumer law and the published competition rules. Statutory rights relating to physical goods will not be removed merely because entries were associated with a purchase.

12. Free Postal Entry Route

Eligible participants may enter applicable Acceleration Challenge competitions without purchasing merchandise by using the free postal entry route.

Postal applications must be sent to:

D4C CUSTOMS LTD – Free Entry
128 City Road
London, EC1V 2NX
United Kingdom

Applicants must provide the information required by the Free Postal Entry Policy, including their identity and contact details, the relevant competition and all eight predicted acceleration times.

No product purchase is required for this entry method. Participants are responsible for ordinary postage costs.

Valid postal applications will be processed and entered manually into the same competition system.

Free entries will be assessed using the same applicable scoring and winner-selection methodology as paid-route entries.

The free route must be clearly disclosed, genuinely available and operated in accordance with applicable law.

[CONFIRM BEFORE PUBLICATION: Postal closing deadline, free-entry limits, postal processing procedure and whether entries are acknowledged by email.]

13. Competition-Specific Conditions

Each competition page should clearly state:

Participation in one competition does not automatically grant participation in another.

14. Competition Integrity

Participants must not manipulate predictions, interfere with scoring, exploit technical vulnerabilities, use false identities or attempt to bypass published entry restrictions.

We may investigate suspected misconduct and take proportionate action supported by evidence.

A valid entry will not be cancelled arbitrarily.

Material disputes concerning competition administration will be handled under the applicable Competition Rules and complaints procedure.

15. Winner Verification and Prizes

Potential winners may be required to provide reasonable proof of identity, age, residency and eligibility.

We may contact winners using the contact information associated with their entry.

The applicable competition page or rules will state the prize, any alternative, relevant deadlines and any material fulfilment requirements.

Prizes are subject to their published terms and cannot be substituted or reduced arbitrarily after valid entry.

Winner information may be published in a proportionate manner for transparency, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

[CONFIRM BEFORE PUBLICATION: Winner response period, prize delivery period, applicable taxes and any cash-alternative rules.]

16. Promotions and Discount Codes

CROMCARS may offer promotional discounts or other limited-time benefits.

Each promotion may have its own eligibility conditions, validity dates and usage restrictions.

Promotional offers cannot be combined unless expressly permitted.

We may correct genuine promotional errors while respecting customers’ existing legal rights.

17. Acceptable Website Use

You must not:

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect customers, website security or competition integrity.

18. Website Availability

We aim to keep CROMCARS available and functioning correctly.

Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, hosting problems, software updates, technical faults or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where a disruption materially affects an active competition, we will follow the applicable Competition Rules and take reasonable steps to preserve fairness.

Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

20. Third-Party Services

CROMCARS may use third-party services for payment processing, hosting, deliveries, email communications and website functionality.

Those providers may have separate terms and privacy notices.

We remain responsible for our own legal obligations to customers and do not exclude liability merely because a third party assists us.

21. Privacy and Cookies

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

This may include account details, order information, delivery details, competition predictions, entry records and winner verification information.

Our Cookie Policy explains the use of cookies and related technologies.

Where consent is required for non-essential cookies, we will provide appropriate consent controls.

22. Our Responsibility to You

We are responsible for losses caused by our breach of contract or negligence where liability arises under applicable law.

We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights or remedies.

We are not responsible for losses caused solely by circumstances outside our reasonable control where the law permits that position.

23. Changes to These Terms

We may update these General Terms to reflect changes in law, our services or our business operations.

The current version will be published on this page.

Changes will not retrospectively remove accrued consumer rights or unfairly alter existing contracts.

Where necessary, we will provide appropriate notice of material changes.

24. Complaints and Disputes

If you have a complaint concerning an order, competition entry, prize or another CROMCARS service, please contact:

[email protected]

Please include your name, relevant order or competition details and a description of the issue.

We will investigate complaints fairly and respond within a reasonable period.

Nothing in these Terms restricts your right to seek assistance from a competent regulator or pursue legal remedies.

25. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in the customer’s country of habitual residence.

Nothing in these Terms deprives consumers of mandatory protections or jurisdictional rights available under applicable law.
