THE PROCESS

HOW IT WORKS

Study the vehicle, make your predictions and see how close you get to the official acceleration measurements.

01

CHOOSE YOUR CHALLENGE

Explore the active Acceleration Challenges and review each vehicle, prize, closing date, eligibility conditions and official rules.

02

ENTER YOUR PREDICTIONS

Predict the cumulative time the challenge vehicle will take to reach each of the eight marked distances. Enter times in MM:SS.mmm format.

03

REVIEW YOUR ENTRIES

Find your submitted predictions under My Predictions. You can adjust them while the relevant challenge remains open and editing is permitted.

04

PREDICTIONS LOCK

At the published cutoff, predictions lock. The administrator records the official acceleration measurements used for scoring.

05

POINTS & LEADERBOARD

Each distance can earn up to 100 points based on the percentage difference between your prediction and the official time. The maximum total is 800 points.

06

RESULTS & WINNERS

Entries are ranked by their combined score. Any ties are assessed using the published tie-breaking rules. Official results and winners are published after verification.

THE SCORING

PRECISION EARNS POINTS.

Every prediction is compared with the official measured time at the same distance. Smaller percentage errors earn higher scores, up to 100 points per distance.

All eight scores are added together. The highest eligible combined score ranks first, subject to the published competition rules.
